The C range bench power supplies are constant voltage/constant current
units with automatic crossover of mode, the transition point being de
termined by the settings of the controls and the load resistance. Red
(current mode) and green (voltage mode) lamps provide clear indication
of the operating mode.
The C1 provides 0-50V, 0-1A and the C2 0-30V, 0-2A. The d.c. output
level, continuously variable by coarse and fine potentiometers, is moni
tored by separate voltage and current meters. A high degree of stabiliz
ation and protection is achieved and facilities exist for remote sensing
of the supply to maintain this performance at the load itself
