3. Bracing materials (2x4s, wood pieces, concrete blocks, bricks, jack stands, sawhorses, etc.)
4. Tape measure and level
5. Open end wrench set, Allen and 6-lobe wrenches or bits, socket set, screwdrivers
6. Drill, bits, extension cords, power supply
7. Grinder or saw (to trim bolt ends)
8. Adult installers - 2 minimum

    07SEP23 Rev. A Balance and Bounce RECOMMENDED ASSEMBLY SEQUENCE 1. Footing (Dig footing; insert base weldment, level and brace base weldment in footing, pour concrete) Allow concrete to fully cure before proceeding! Cordon off area to prevent use. 2. Spiraloks to coil springs 3.
  • Page 10 07SEP23 Rev. A Balance and Bounce STEP 3 INSTALL BASE WELDMENT IN FOOTING 3a. Install base weldment per these instructions, then proceed with assembly of Balance and Bounce. IMPORTANT NOTE: It is important to allow concrete of footing and base weldment to fully cure (usually 72 hours) before completing assembly! 3b.

Place spiralok discs through coils in each end of coil springs, with flat sides facing other inside springs. Turn discs clockwise and firmly tighten into respective ends of springs. Assemble the three coil springs to the base weldment by bolting through the spiraloks with hardware as shown below. IMPORTANT NOTE: Torque 3/4" bolts to at least 120 ft-lbs. Use a grinder or saw to trim bolt ends (all beyond two threads from nut), and peen ends to remove any sharp edges.

Attach the three frame weldments f/spring on the top of the coil springs by bolting through the spiraloks with hardware as shown below. Make sure frame weldment is installed with the top side up (with the bent side flanges oriented down) as shown below.

Loosely attach the six kick plates to the sides of the frame weldments with hardware in three places per kick plate. Two kick plates are attached using the three lower holes (marked with "L"), and four kick plates are attached using the three upper holes (marked with "U"), as shown below.

The top of the bent flanges should be flush with the top of the lowest frame weldment. All five bent plates should be installed with the top of bent flange flush with top of lowest frame weldment.
