THE CHORD DICTIONARY
The chord dictionary is actually a chord handbook reserved in the instrument in which
the notes forming a chord can be looked up. All the chord notes are shown on the
screen to lead the learner to play chords. This function is very bene cial to the rst
learners who know the chord names to master the ngerings.
1. Press the [Chord Dictionary] button to start the function with "DICT" appearing
on the LCD screen as well as "C", which stands for C major triad and note symbols
on the stave. The chord roots and type of chord can be de ned on the melody
keyboard on the right of the split point, then the corresponding keys will be shown
on the keyboard and note symbols on the stave on the screen, so the learner can
play the chord on the accompaniment keyboard according to the representation
on the screen.
2. When the chord notes are correctly played on the accompaniment keyboard, there
will be a clapping to celebrate. When the chord notes aren't correctly played, there
will be BASS sound of the keys that are played.
3. Press the [Right/Chord Dictionary] button again to stop the function.
