These units are designed exclusively for lifting with eye-bolts (Fig.6.1)
• Handle the unit at an ambient temperature above -20 °C and when there is no wind.
• Make sure that all the panels and connections (bolts, rivets, etc.) are not damaged and are fastened and secured correctly.
• Use all and only the lifting points indicated in the dimensional drawing and marked on the unit (yellow brackets).
• Use cables of similar length, as indicated in the dimensional drawing;
• Make sure that the cables are securely fastened to the unit.
• A sling bar of suitable weight-bearing capacity and geometry is required, in order to guarantee stability when lifting and to prevent
the ropes from coming in contact with the unit (as per the dimensional drawing).
• Move the unit carefully and avoid abrupt movements. Do not tilt the machine more than 6° during handling.
• Keep at a safe distance and under no circumstances stand with parts of the body under or near the lifted unit.
• The surface on which the unit is placed must be level and sufficiently strong to take the weight of the machine when it is full of water
and running.
Vibration damper installation
• To reduce vibrations to the supporting structures, assemble vibration dampers at each fastening point indicated in the dimensional
drawing. The vibration damper kit supplied by MEHITS as accessory ensures a high level of insulation and minimum inclination of
the machine on the horizontal plane.
• When installing vibration dampers not supplied by MEHITS, pay attention to the vibration dampening properties and the inclination
of the machine.
• Install the vibration dampers under the base with the unit lifted no more than 250 mm off the ground (refer to the instruction sheet
supplied with the optional kit). Avoid placing parts of the body under the unit. Secure the unit on the support base.
• The vibration dampers may extend outside the span of the machine and, in which case, will require suitable support.
In case of installation on a raised surface, make sure that the handle of the power disconnector is easy to access and at a height
between 0.6m and 1.9m above the floor (EN60204-1).
