Operator Presence Control (OPC)
When the OPC is engaged, the motor stops. Refer to
do a check of the Operator Presence Control (OPC) on
page 11 .
To do a check of the Operator Presence Control (OPC)
1. Start the product. Refer to
page 16 .
2. Pull out the OPC key. If the motor does not stop in
3 seconds, speak to an approved Husqvarna service
agent.

To do before you operate the product
1. Read the operator's manual carefully and make sure
that you understand the instructions.
2. Read the operator's manual for the dust collector
carefully and make sure that you understand the
instructions.
3. If the product is operated in connection with a power
source, make sure that you read and understand the
operator's manual of that power source.
4. Use personal protective equipment. Refer to
Personal protective equipment on page 7 .
5. Make sure that only approved persons are in the
work area.
6. Do daily maintenance. Refer to
schedule on page 20 .
7. Make sure that the product is assembled correctly
and is not damaged.
8. Make sure that all bolts, screws and nuts are
tightened.

Operation

Before you operate the
Maintenance
Clean the product to remove dangerous material
before you do the maintenance.
To
Do the maintenance of the product on stable level
ground. Make sure that the product cannot move.
Do not make modifications to the product.
Modifications that are not approved by the
manufacturer can cause serious injury or death.
Replace damaged, worn or broken parts.
Do not use a pressure washer to clean the product.
Only use lint-free cleaning cloths.
Always use original accessories and spare parts.
Accessories and spare parts that are not approved
by the manufacturer, can cause serious injury or
death.
After maintenance, do a check of the vibration level
in the product. If it is not correct, speak to an
approved service agent.
Let an approved service agent do servicing on the
product regularly.
9. Make sure that the blast wheel blades, feed spout,
and seals are not damaged or worn out. Replace
the parts when 75% of the blade thickness has been
worn away.
10. Make sure that the separator is not damaged.
11. Make sure that the separator is filled with abrasive
material up to the separator tray.
12. Make sure that the brush list seals are installed at
the correct height. Refer to
the brush list seals on page 12 .
13. Put the product on the work area. Make sure that the
surface is level. Make sure that the transportation of
the product to and in the work area is done safely
and correctly. Refer to
disposal on page 28 .
14. Install the side seals. Refer to
seals on page 12 .
15. Connect a dust collector to the product. Refer to
connect a dust collector on page 15 .
16. Make sure that the ON/OFF switch is in OFF position
before you connect the product to a power source.
17. Connect the product to a power source. Refer to
connect the product to a power source on page 15 .
Valve for the abrasive material
The valve for the abrasive material controls the flow of
the abrasive material to the blast wheel blades. The
adjustment of the valve for the abrasive material is
shown on the ammeter. Refer to
