5. To turn the transmitter ON, slide the ON-OFF
SWITCH (Figure 1, Item 2) to ON.
6. Test the transmitter operation with an aid receiver
equipped with the scrambler option. Make sure that
the SC (ScrambledyCL (Clear) switch on the receiver
front panel is set in the same mode as the transmitter.

The TX-716 and TX-916 are powered by two 9V alkaline
batteries (Cat. No. 94081). To replace the batteries, proceed
a s f o l l o w s :

1. Be sure the ON-OFF switch is in the OFF position.
2. Remove the Lower Case Assembly by holding the
Transmitter Header firmly with one hand while pulling
the Lower Case Assembly free of the Header.
3. Remove the depleted batteries carefully, ONE AT A
TIME, by holding the Header firmly while pulling each
battery STRAIGHT AWAY FROM THE HEADER.
