Maintenance

4.1

Time of maintenance

CAUTION
Repairs and replacements may only be undertaken by trained persons and only genuine
replacement parts of Vermeiren should be used.
Before each use
Inspect the following points:
•
All parts (neoprene fabric, stitching, hook-and-loop): present, undamaged and showing no
excessive wear, no discolouration.
•
All parts: clean, see § 4.2.1.
Contact your specialist dealer for possible repairs or part replacements.
If stored
Make sure that your Neoflex system is stored in a dry environment to prevent mould from growing,
or the system from being damaged.
4.2

Instructions for maintenance

4.2.1 Cleaning
CAUTION
• Your product is suitable for cleaning by hand wash, or by using the delicate cleaning
programme on your washing machine.
• Do not dry clean, bleach or dye your product.
Minor dirt can be cleaned with a cloth. Thorough cleaning by hand wash or a delicate washing
programme is advisable depending on the use frequency and the user's needs.
The upholstery can be washed with lukewarm water (max. 40°C) and a mild soap. Do not use
abrasive cleaning agents to clean.
Let the Neoflex system dry thoroughly on a flat surface before using. Do not dry the Neoflex
system over intense heat sources (e.g. radiators or stoves) or in direct sunlight.
4.3

Expected service life

The average service life of your Neoflex system is 5 years. Depending on the frequency of use
and maintenance, the service life of your Neoflex product will increase or decrease.
4.4

Reuse

Neoflex products are meant for single patient multiple use only.
4.5

End of use

At end of life, you need to dispose of your Neoflex system according to the local environmental
legislation.
4.6

Warranty

The warranty on this product is subject to the general terms and conditions of each country.
