Quality of Service (QoS) for Communications between
the Vesta Charger and the OPTIMIZER Lite IPG
MedRadio in the MICS sub-band (402 to 405 MHz)
wireless technology enables communication between the
OPTIMIZER Lite IPG and the Vesta Charger. The
requirements for the Quality of Service (QoS) vary
depending on the use environment (operating room,
recovery room, clinic, and home environment).
The Vesta Charger will begin by displaying the IPG Data
Download and IPG Data Download Success screens:
After the data download has been completed, the
Charging IPG Status screen is displayed by the Vesta
Charger:
The Coupling Level icon (
), whose number of
illuminated bars is proportional to the proximity of the
charging wand to the implanted OPTIMIZER Lite IPG, is
indicative of the Quality of Service (QoS) for the
transcutaneous energy transmission wireless link. The
charging wand should be repositioned until at least 2 bars
of the Coupling Level icon are illuminated, indicating
sufficient QoS for charging the OPTIMIZER Lite IPG.
