Summer Mode and Winter Mode Operation
IMPORTANT: To prevent damage or cause injury, be sure that fan is switched to o° and blades have stopped moving completely

before attempting to change direction of rotation.
The reverse switch is located on the top of the motor housing. Slide the switch to the right for winter mode operation. Slide t

switch to the left for summer mode operation.
Summer Mode (forward):

A DOWNWARD airflow creates a cooling e°ect as shown in Figure 3. This allows you to set your air conditioner on a warmer setting
without a°ecting your comfort.
Winter Mode (Reverse):

An UPWARD airflow moves warmer air o° the ceiling area as shown in Figure 4. This allows you to set your heating unit on a coole
setting without a°ecting your comfort.
