METHOD OF APPLICATION
- There are two ways to install the air pump as following:
Picture 1: If place the air pump blow the surface of water in tank, you must install the air pump with check valves.

Picture 2: Place the air pump 25cm higher than the surface of water in tank in order to avoid water backflow.

- lnstalling the air pump with check valves as following:

- Adjust the air outlet flow: When you rotate the knob clockwise, the outlet flow will increase. Counter clockwise the outlet flow will reduce. Then you can set the appropriate air output which you want.

ATTENTIONS
- Please read this manual carefully before using and follow strictly in accordance with the manual.
- Please install the air pump with check valves or place the air pump 25cm higher than the surface of water in the tank, in order to avoid the water backflow.
- Please place the air pump level on a flat surface and put a towel underthe pump can reduce the sound even more.
- Please keep the air pump away from water, because the air pump is not waterproof.
- Please keep the air pump away from flammable items, in order to avoid accidents.
- Please unplug the power and contact the seller when the air pump is abnormal sound, overheating or no air output.
- Please soak the air stones for 1-2 hours before use to get perfect bubbles with this pump.
- Please clean the filter cotton monthly, because air filter cotton will accumulate a lot of dust after a period of use.
- Please note that airflow loss is usually caused by clogged air-stone, which over time become blocked as algae, floating debris, and mineral deposits accumulate in the pores. If you notice a diminished airflow, try blowing through the air-stone yourself. If its difficult, replace the air-stone. Please unplug the power before maintenance.
- Please mind that the temperature range for the air pump is 33.8—950F.
- Please mind that the limit depth of water for the attached air stone is 6 feet.

To avoid possible electrical shock, do not immerse the pump in water. If the pump falls into the water, or otherwise becomes wet, do not touch it until you have unplugged it. Basic safety precautions should be observed including the following:

To prevent possible electrical shock resulting from water back-siphoning, pump should be used with a check-valve or positioned higher than the water level.
- Read and follow this user manual strictly.

To avoid possible electric shock, special care should be taken. For each of the following situations, do not attempt to repair yourself; return the pump to an authorized service facility for service or discard the pump. - If the pump falls into the water, do not touch it. First unplug it, then retrieve it. If electrical components of the pump get wet, unplug the pump immediately.
- Carefully examine the pump after installation. It should not be plugged in if there is water on parts not intended to be wet.
- Do not operate the pump if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is malfunctioning or if it is dropped damaged in any manner. The power cord of this pump cannot be replaced, if the cord is damaged, pump should be discarded.
- To avoid the possibility of the pump plug getting wet, position aquarium stand and tank to one side of a wall mounted receptacle to prevent water from dripping onto the receptacle or plug. A "drip loop", shown in the figure below, should be arranged by the user for each cord connecting the pump to the receptacle. The "drip loop" is the part of the cord below the level of the receptacle, or the connector. If an extension cord is used, to prevent water traveling along the cord and coming in contact with the receptacle. or receptacle does get wet, DO NOT unplug the cord. Disconnect the fuse to the circuit breaker that supplies power to the pump. Then unplug and examine for the presence of water in the receptacle.

- Close supervision is necessary when the pump is used near children.
- To avoid injury, do not contact moving parts or hot parts and so on.
- Always unplug the pump from the outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off POWER CORD parts, and before maintenance or placing hands in the water. Never yank the cord to pull plug from outlet. Grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
- Do not use the pump for other than intended use. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition.
- DO not install or store the pump where it will be exposed to the weather or to temperatures below freezing. This pump is suitable for use in water temperatures less than 950F.
- Make sure the pump is securely installed before operating it.
- Read and observe all the important notices on the pump.
- If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with a proper rating should be used. Acord rated for less amperes or watts than the appliance rating may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that it will not be tripped over or pulled.
- The pump is intended FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
