PRODUCT PARAMETER

METHOD OF APPLICATION

1. Before plug to power, please installing the heater as following diagram: (Placed the heater horizontally)
   INSTALL THE ITEMS ACCORDING TO THIS SKETCH MAP AND PLACING THE HEATING ROD AND THERMAL DETECTOR SUBMERSIBLE FULLY
   
2. Make sure the heating rod and thermal detector are completely submersible in the water, and keep the heating rod away from the thermal detector, then plug the power adapter (which is different from heating rod power adapter) to power
3. Press "up" key to choose °C or °F model
4. Press "set" key for several seconds until the setting temperature number is flashing, then press "up" key or "down" key to reach the target temperature, press the "set" key again about one second, then the setting is done. When heating indicator is on means heating rod is working, and when heating indicator is off means heating rod stop working. Once the water temperature value on display reach the setting temperature value on display, the heating rod will stop heating; And when the water temperature value on display is less than the setting temperature value on display, the heating rod will start heating again.
   (But if using another thermometer to measure the temperature, there will be a little difference).

ATTENTIONS

• Please check all the items whether they are in good condition or not when unboxing the package.
• Please must read the user manual carefully before using and following the manual strictly.
• The Titanium heater don't have Built-in temp detector, It must be used with this IC electronic controller and is not allowed to be used alonely.
• Please make sure to place the heating rod horizontally and submersible fully when it's on duty.
• Please make sure the thermal detector submersible fully when it's on duty.
• Please choose the suitable size heating rod for aquarium tanks.
• Please place the heating rod on the way of water flow and don't buried the heating rod in sands, also don't put the heating rod in bottom filtration water, we suggest circulate the water in the tanks, so can make heating fast.
• Please must place the heating rod submersible fully when it's on duty, unplug the rod and wait for 10 minutes before changing water or remove the rod; also place the thermal detector submersible fully. But keep the detector away from the heating rod.
• Please remember that we don't suggest to use this temperature controller for other brand heating rod, because there are some different standard between different type heating rod.
• Please also remember that the heating rod can' t be plugged to power without temperature controller, the heating rod must be plugged to power adapter from IC temperature controller.
• Please keep the IC electronic temperature controller away from water, its not waterproof, keep it dry always please, if find any wrong with the temperature controller, please unplug the power and inquiry the seller.
• This Titanium heater is not suitable for use in acrylic fish tanks.
• This product is only suitable for indoor use.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q1: Why another thermometer and water temperature on display show different temperature value?
A: Because first the water temperature in different place of aquarium tank is not the same; Second the standard of different thermometer also is not the same, so two types thermometer on the same place also will show different temperature value. These usually will happened. In order to avoid these happened, we need try to circulate the water in tanks and use the same standard thermometer as thermal detector.

Q2: Sometime the heating rod is working, but why the water temperature value can't reach the setting temperature value?
A: First reason is the size of the heating rod is small to match the aquarium tank size, we suggest buy bigger than normal one; Second reason is the water in tank isn't circulating, we suggest use circulate pump or water pump to make the water flow in tank; Third reason is the temperature outside of tank is too low, Normally, when the temperature outside the tank is below 45 degrees Fahrenheit, this will happen, we need try to keep room a little warm. Except above reasons, usually we need to wait for the heating rod to heat, it will take hours, maybe half day or one day.

Q3: The heating rod stop working when reaching the target temperature, why the water temperature will go up more?
A: Because when the heating rod stop working, the rod also is so hot, it's several hundreds degree, so rod still will heat the water, and temperature on surface of water also is higher than deep, average water temperature will go up, then thermal detector will detect higher temperature value than setting value.

Q4: When the water temperature is lower than the setting temperature, but why the heating rod never work?
A: Because the heating rod is controlled by temperature controller, when the water temperature value on display is about 1°F less than setting temperature value on display, the heating rod will start heat. So if the difference between water temperature value on display and setting temperature value on display is too small, the heating rod won't start heat. If using another thermometer to measure the temperature, there will show a little more decline, then the heating rod will start heat.
