INTRODUCTION
Types 9010 and 9011
1.1
The 600MH:i Decade Dividers (or Pre-Scalers) Type .9010 and 9011 are function-
ally identical instruments, differing only in physical dimensions. While both instru-
ments are designed for either bench or rack-mounted use, the 9010 is contained in a "half-
rack
ll
case, and is thus a suitable partner for counters such as the RacaI835,836,9037 and
9038.
The dimensions of the 9011 on the other hand, are suited to 19-inch rack mounting or
as a companion to similarly dimensioned counters such as those in the Racal 800 or 9000
series. Four rubber feet are provided in the accessories kit to allow the 9011 to be mounted
on top of the associated 800 series counter. Both the 9010 and 9011 can
be
provided with
remote programming and print-out capability under Option 02 or 05. The technical details
of these options are described in an Appendix at the back of this handbook.
Types 9012 and 9013
1.2
The 9012 and 9013 are mechanically equivalent to the 9010 and 9011 but are fitted
with a simpler type of input attenuator unit and the remote programming options are
not available with these instruments. The essential differences between the four instruments
are summarized in Table 2. 1 below:
