INTRODUCTION

This Chapter contains functional tests and adjustment procedures which will
assist in maintaining satisfactory performance and serve as an aid to general
faul t diagnos is.
NOTE: Calibration of the Amplifier Divider Assembly 19-0630 and the Attenuator
Assembly 11-0683 (901 0/9011) requires specialised equipment. If these items
are not functioning correctly it is recommended that they be despatched to
Racal Instruments Limited, or to an authorized repair agency for recalibration.
REMOVAL OF CASE

iV\ains voltages are exposed when the case is removed.
Switch off the a.c. supply at the bench outlet and disconnect power lead
from the instrument rear panel socket.
Place the instrument face downwards on the bench and slacken off the
four pozidrive screws at the rear (one in each of the four plastic retainers).
Carefully lift the case off the instrument.
