Remove the instrument case (para. 4.2) and check fuses (Table 4.1).

The instrument should be prepared for use as instructed in page 2-1.
NOTE: If an untested power supply unit is being fitted it is recommended that the
Amplifier Divider and the Divider Buffer Assemblies be removed from the
instrument until the power supply output voltages have been initially
adjusted.

Cheek that the mains supply voltage is satisfactory and that the voltage
Selector (rear panel) is correctly set.

Set the POWER switch to ON and note that the amber ponel lamp
