Description

Before removing the touchpad, follow these steps:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly

Remove the bottom cover (see

Remove the touchpad:
1.
Disconnect the NFC module cable from the ZIF connector on the NFC module (1).
2.
Disconnect the touchpad button board cable from the ZIF connector on the touchpad (2).
3.
Disconnect the card reader cable from the ZIF connector on the touchpad (3).
4.
Remove the five Phillips M2.0 × 2.5 screws (1) that secure the touchpad to the computer.
