1.7.
Prior to installation - Jøtul F 305 with base
1)
Remove the contents from the ash pan.
2) Lift the baffle, ash retainer, and bag of screws out of the
burn chamber.
3) Check that the control handles (C) move freely.
4) Remove the bottom plate (A) by taking hold of the front
left corner. Lift up the plate and remove it from the base
at an angle.
5) Remove the four transport screws (B) that fasten the
oven to the wooden pallet.
6) Lift the oven from the pallet and set it up
7) Adjust the base with the height adjustment screws using
the hex key placed in the bag of screws.
NB! Take into account the height of the floor plate.
8) Mark on the wall if there has to be a rear outlet for flue
pipe and external air supply. If there has to be a rear
outlet for flue pipe and/or external air supply, move the
oven from the wall and prepare the connections.
1.8.
Fitting the flue pipe
The product is supplied from the factory with the smoke
outlet fitted for the top outlet.
1) Thread the flue pipe (A) through the top plate and place it
in the top smoke outlet.
2) Seal well with the gasket supplied (B).
1.9.
Fitting the baffle
Place the baffle (A) as displayed in the figure.
1) Place the baffle inside the firebox.
2) Raise the front of the baffle and place it above the front
pins from behind.
3) Raise the rear of the baffle and put it into place.
