Setting the Date and Time
The date and/or time display appears in the display when you press the DATE
button. If you start recording now, it will be superimposed on the scene.
Set the date and time display when you first start using your camera. As long as
you have installed the backup battery (p. 67), the camera's internal dock will
continue to work even when the main power source is removed.
1. Put the camera in record pause mode.
2. Press and hold the DATE button for about three seconds.
• The day display starts to flash.

3. Press the FlexiZone controller up or down to change the day. Press
the FlexiZone controller right or left to move to another part of the
display.
• Press and hold up or down to scan the days quickly.
• Once you move from the day, the next part of the display starts flashing.
4. Set the month, year, hours and minutes in the same way.
5. Press the DATE button when finished.
• The internal clock starts.
Notes:
• The date can be set to any year between 1999 and 2099.
• To change part of the date and time, press and hold the DATE button for three
seconds, then use the FlexiZone controller to go straight to the place you want
to change.
