AUTOMATIC STABILITY CON-
TROL (ASC)
Switching off ASC
Switch on the ignition.

You have the option of
deactivating the ASC func-
tion while the motorcycle is on
the move.
Press and hold down button 1
until ASC indicator and warn-
ing light 2 changes its state.

ASC is switched off.
Switch on ASC
Press and hold down button 1
until ASC indicator and warn-
ing light 2 changes its state.
goes out; if self-diagnosis
has not completed it
starts flashing.
ASC is switched on.
You also have the option of
switching the ignition off and
then on again.
If the ASC indicator
and warning light re-
mains on even though the
vehicle has accelerated past
the minimum speed stated
below after the ignition was
switched off and then on
again, an ASC fault has oc-
curred.
