Gross Axle W eight Rating
The Gross Axle Weight Rating is the maximum
load that can be applied at each axle of the
vehicle ¢ Lr!, .
Vehicle capacity weight
The vehicle capacity we ight (max. load) is list-
ed on the driver's side B-pill ar.

WARNING
- The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating for your
vehicle, fo und on the safety compliance
label on the driver's side B-pillar, must
never be exceeded under any circumstan-
ces. Exceeding the Gross Vehicle Weight
Rating of your vehicle is likely to damage
your vehicle, and such damage will not
be covered by your Limited New Vehicle
Warranty. Exceeding the Gross Vehicle
Weight Rating will also change the per-
formance and handling characte rist ics of
your vehicle, which cou ld cause a crash
result ing in serious inju ry or death.
- The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating fo r yo ur
vehicle would be exceeded if your vehicle
is simultaneo usly equipped with Panor-
amic sliding sunroof ; th ird-row seating;

the front and rear axles should not ex-
ceed the permissible weights, and the ir
comb inat ion must not exceed the Gross
Vehicle Weight Rating.
- Exceeding permiss ible weight ratings can
result in vehicle damage, accidents and
personal injury.

Note
- The vehicle capacity weight figu res apply
when the load is distr ibuted evenly in the
vehicle (passengers and luggage). When
t ransport ing a heavy load in the lugg age
compar t ment, carry the load as near t o
t he rear axle as possible so that the vehi-
cle's handling is not impaired.
- Do not exceed the maximum permissib le
axle loads or the maximum gross vehicle
we ight . Always remember that the vehi-
cle's handling w ill be affected by the ex-
tra load. Therefore, adj ust your speed ac-
cordingly.
- Always observe local regulat ions.
