WATER DRAINAGE All portable air conditioners dehumidify the air as they cool. This Whynter SNO portable air conditioner is designed to evaporate and exhaust the condensed water. When using the Cooling or Dehumidifying modes under extremely humid conditioners, the internal water tray may be filled completely. If this happens, the Water Level indicator on the control panel will light and the compressor will shut off.

If the provided water hose is not long enough, you can drain by using a garden hose. The diameter of the outer port is designed to fit the screw nut of a regular garden hose.
FILTER This portable air conditioner comes with a washable filter that filters dust or other impurities in the air. This filter should be cleaned about once every two weeks or as needed. If it becomes clogged with dust, the airflow volume will reduce and the cooling efficiency will be lower.
