appliance.
• If the appliance is grounded (protection class
I), the wall outlet and any extension to which
it is connected must also be grounded.
• Place the appliance on a clear, flat and heat-

appliance should be kept free to allow an
unobstructed air-circulation. Never place the

should the appliance be placed or operated
in the vicinity of exposed gas flames.

table or counter. Do not let the cord touch
hot surfaces.

it is operating.
• Do not operate this appliance with an
external timer or remote-control device.

Therefore, be careful not to touch any of the
hot parts.
• Over-heated fats and oils can ignite. Food
prepared with oils and fats (e.g. French
Fries) should always be prepared under
supervision.
• Always disconnect the appliance from power
after use, before cleaning and in the event of
a malfunction.
• As long as the appliance is hot, it should be
supervised, even if it is not connected to the
mains. Nor should it be transported with a
saucepan on the hot-plate – risk of getting
burned. Allow the appliance to cool down
fully before cleaning and storing it.

pull on the plug to disconnect the appliance
from the power source.

BEFORE FIRST USE
