1 input to 6 outputs analog audio distributor with transformer balanced inputs and outputs and independent gain adjustments for each one of the outputs (24 pages)
SNMP management and the ability to record events in a file including date and time information for further analysis. The DAD2000C01 is a TL2000 terminal line module and can be housed in a two rack unit (2 RU) UR2000 mounting frame.
• Purely linear distributor amplifier. Output signal is a replica of the input signal. • Front panel indicator for input presence. • Ability to increase the number of outputs by installing a second DAD2000C01 module in the slot to the left in the same mounting frame.
Albalá Ingenieros | Manual DAD2000C01 2. SPECIFICATIONS AES/EBU digital audio signal input Connector Plug-in terminal, 3.81 mm pitch Impedance 110 Ω loaded Type Transformer balanced Encoding and electrical characteristics According to EBU Tech. 3250-E/AES3 standard Sampling rate 16...96 kHz Number of inputs...
• The DAD2000C01 module and the mounting frame should always be installed, maintained, operated and removed by personnel with sufficient technical qualifications. The equipment should never be placed in damp areas, near splashing liquid, or in explosive or corrosive atmospheres.
7 V peak-to-peak. In order to guarantee proper operation with any signal amplitude, do not install more than 15 DAD2000C01 modules in a UR2000 mounting frame with PSU2000C02 power supplies. If however the input signals deliver signals of 5 V peak-to-peak or less then there are no power restrictions.
1 - Remove the blank panel covering the front of the empty slot chosen for installing the DAD2000C01 in the mounting frame. 2 - Insert the DAD2000C01 module into the front of the mounting frame. The edges of the card slide into two plastic guides inside the mounting frame.
Albalá Ingenieros | Manual DAD2000C01 3.7. Interconnection The arrangement of the front panel connectors of the DAD2000C01 module is shown in the following figure. Front panel of the DAD2000C01 The DAD2000C01 module provides one input (IN) and four outputs (OUT1 to OUT4).
Albalá Ingenieros | Manual DAD2000C01 4. OPERATION This section describes the significance of the front panel indicators of the DAD2000C01 module and their remote control and monitoring ability. 4.1. Front panel description The appearance of the front panel and the elements it contains are shown in the following illustration.
Albalá Ingenieros | Manual DAD2000C01 4.2. Functional description The DAD2000C01 distributor does not perform any manipulation of the digital stream - therefore the signal present at the output is a replica of the signal at the input.
Albalá Ingenieros | Manual DAD2000C01 4.3. Module remote control and supervision The DAD2000C01 can optionally be remotely controlled/supervised. In order to perform remote configuration and supervision of the module an optional TL2000 family remote communications controller must be installed in the mounting frame.
- Supervision of the status of the signal being distributed by the module. 4.3.1. Details of the DAD2000C01 registers The DAD2000C01 module provides control and status registers that can be read and written by means of specific commands described in the communication control module user manuals.
Albalá Ingenieros | Manual DAD2000C01 5. GLOSSARY AES/EBU This acronym covers the combined AES and EBU standard for transmission of digital audio. The standard defines a serial interface known as AES3 as per AES, EBU 3250-E as per EBU or ITU-R BS.647-2 as per ITU. The interface originally transmitted two channels (one pair) with PCM coding with a bit depth of 20 or 24 bit and a sampling frequency between 32 kHz and 192 kHz.
Albalá Ingenieros | Manual DAD2000C01 6. REGULATIONS AES3 (2003) AES Recommended practice for digital audio engineering - Serial transmission format for two-channel linearly represented digital audio data.
