Communication Lines
The communication lines display allows you to temporarily
change some operating parameters of your communication
lines so as to improve the operation or to achieve
compatibility with the terminal at the other end. Among the
items that can be changed are the transmission speed, the
way in which the modem answers, the line code used, and
others explained in the following text. The changes are
temporary because they are automatically revoked upon the
next IML or any type of system reset.
