When cooking very greasy foods, keep the temperature under 350
F to help reduce flare-ups. Avoid putting greasy food directly over
the Fire Pot area.
Adjust the controller to a lower temperature and allow the cooking
temperature to stabilize. This could take several minutes. Once the
cooking temperature reaches the set temperature, set a new
desired cooking temperature.
