Copying
Your Tapes (Dubbing)
Connections you'll need to make. (Choose front or rear connection.)
+ When connecting to a normal VCR, use the L Audio In Jack for proper sound reduction.

Insert a pre-recorded
tape into the Playing
(Source) VCR.
VON
Insert a blank tape
with record tab into the
Recording (Editing) VCR.
Select "LINE" Input mode on the
Recording (Editing) VCR. (See
"Selecting the Input Mode" on page 21.)
Push PLAY on the Playing VCR.
Push PAUSE at the desired starting
point.

Audio In (L/R)
Push REC on the Recording VCR,
and then push PAUSE immediately
thereafter.
Push PAUSE on both VCRs at
the same time, to_begin copying.
To Edit Out Unwanted Parts
Push PAUSE on the recording VCR while copying is
in progress. Push PAUSE again to resume copying.
Push STOP on both
VCRs to stop copying.
e If one of the VCRs you are using is a conventional

VHS VOR, connect the VIDEO OUT terminal of the
(NOTE)
Source VCR and the VIDEO IN terminal of the
EY,
Editing VCR using the Video Cable, instead of the
S-VHS Connecting Cable. Refer to the TV Operating ¡
Instructions for connection of the TV.

To Monitor Dubbing on Your TV
I Turn your TV on and tune to the Recording
VCR channel (CH3 or CH4).
2 Set the VCR/TV
Selector on the Recording
VCR to "VCR."
