A You selected connection type 2 (VCR»CABLE/
DSS BOXPTV or VCRPTV) in step 4 on page 14.
B You selected "NO REMOTE" in step 6 on page 14
(your cable box or DSS receiver is not remote
controllable).
C You use a DSS receiver and selected "YES" in
step 8 on page 15.
D Cable Box or DSS receiver could not be controlied
in step 8 on page 15.
Turn on the cable box and set
t to the local PBS channel.
* If you live near a different time
zone, make sure to set the
channel in your time zone.
- If you use a DSS receiver,
it must be turned off.

If the displayed auto clock set time and
D.S.T. are not correct
If you live close to two different time zones, the VCR may
recognize the wrong PBS station as the setting channel.
If this happens, please complete the following steps.
1 Make a note of the SETTING: CH number shown on screen
and push CH A to exit.
2 Delete the setting channel form channe! memory.
(See the Add or
Delete a Channel section on page 17.)
3 Push MENU to display the menu.
4 Push AY to select "SET CLOCK," and then push >
to display the "SET CLOCK" screen.
5 Push AV and P to select and set "AUTO SET."
6 Follow the One Time VCR Setup instructions on pages 14~16.
* If you use a cable box and have multiple PBS stations, tune the
cable box to a different PBS station and try auto clock set again
using the menu.
