WARN ING!
The parameters are indicated for a
nominal voltage of 230 V with a fre-
quency of 50 Hz. At other voltage or
frequency values, other parameters
are possible.
Information on noise and vibration
The declared total noise and vibration
value has been measured according to
the standard test method defined in EN
62841-2-6 and can be used to compare
one power tool with another.
The declared general level of noise and
vibration can be used in preliminary as-
sessments of exposure to noise and vibra-
tion.
WARN ING!
Transmission of vibration and noise
emissions during use of the power
tool may differ from the declared
values depending on how the pow-
er tool is used, especially what type
of material is being processed.
The specified level of noise and vibration
refers to the work for which the power
tool is intended.

8. PREPARATION FOR WORK

WA RNI NG!
Before preparing for work, during
maintenance
work with the power tool, pull the
plug from the socket.
Unpack the power tool and inspect the
package for external damage.
If you have stored or transported the
power tool at a temperature lower than
that at which it is planned to be used,
you must make sure that there is no con-

sation forms on the power tool, its further
preparation for work or operation is pro-
hibited until the condensate dries com-
pletely.
Changing the position of the front
auxiliary handle
To set a comfortable position of the front
auxiliary handle (1) (Fig. 5), first loosen it.
To do this, turn the lower part of the han-
dle in the direction A. Then set in a com-
fortable position. Turn in direction B to
lock.
The tightening tape (2) of the auxiliary
handle should be between the edges (3)
in the groove provided for this purpose
on the body (Fig. 5).
WA R NI NG !
Hold the power tool with both
hands while working.
Installation of accessories (drills,
core bits, flat or pointed chisels)
Wipe the accessory shank dry before in-
stallation . Then apply a small amount
of a shank lubricant. Use, for example,
0.5-1 g of TL-5HS.
To install, pull the chuck sleeve (1) toward
the front auxiliary handle. Keep the sleeve
in this position. Install the accessory (2)
as far as it will go. By rotating it in any di-
rection, hit the locking grooves. Then re-
lease the chuck sleeve (1). The shank of
the accessory is automatically fixed in the
desired position (Fig. 6).
SDS-Plus type shank for models ВН-10,
BH-14S, ВН-20. SDS-Max device for the
BH-30 model. Working with other types is
prohibited. Tools with such shanks move
freely in the clamping chuck. This is ex-
plained by the design features of SDS-Plus
and SDS-Max chucks . Radial loosing may
occur in idle mode. During operation, the
tool is centered automatically, so it does
not affect the accuracy of drilling.
