Problem
The sensor fields become hot.

13.2 Service data
If you cannot find a solution to the problem yourself, contact your dealer or an Authorised
Service Centre.
The necessary data for the service centre is on the rating plate. The rating plate is on the front
frame of the appliance cavity. Do not remove the rating plate from the appliance cavity.

Possible cause
The cookware is too large or you put
it too near to the controls.
Automatic Switch Off operates.
The Child Safety Device or the Lock
function operates.
There is no cookware on the zone.
The cookware is incorrect.
The diameter of the bottom of the
cookware is too small for the zone.
The oven is deactivated.
The clock is not set.
The necessary settings are not set.

The plug of the core temperature
sensor is not correctly installed into

You left the dish in the oven for too

You did not fill the cavity emboss‐
ment with water.

There is to much water in the cavity
embossment.
Remedy
Put large cookware on the rear
zones if possible.
Deactivate the hob and activate it
again.
Refer to "Hob - Daily use" chapter.
Put cookware on the zone.
Use the correct cookware. Refer to
"Hob - Hints and tips" chapter.
Use cookware with correct dimen‐
sions. Refer to "Hob - Hints and
tips" chapter.
Activate the oven.
Set the clock.
Make sure that the settings are cor‐
rect.
Replace the lamp.
Reset the clock.
Put the plug of the core temperature
sensor as far as possible into the
socket.
Do not leave the dishes in the oven
for longer than 15 - 20 minutes after
the cooking process ends.
Refer to "Activating the Steam Bake
function".
Set the temperature at least to
110°C. Refer to "Oven - Hints and
tips" chapter.
Deactivate the oven and make sure
that the appliance is cold. Wipe the
water with a cloth or sponge. Add
the correct amount of water to the
cavity embossment. Refer to "Acti‐
vating the Steam Bake function".
