7. The telephone company may make changes in its communi¬
cations facilities, equipment, operations, or procedures, where
such action is reasonably required in the operation of its business
and is not inconsistent with FCC rules. If such changes can be
reasonably expected to render any customer's devices incompati¬
ble with telephone company facilities, or require modification or
alteration, or otherwise materially affect its performance, written
notification must be given to the user to allow uninterrupted service.
