For greater enjoyment of your stereo
system, you can connect other components
to the stereo. You can connect:
«an MD recorder
*aDAT deck
« headphones
« an optional tape player
eaVCR
* a turntable
Connecting an MD
recorder or a DAT deck
You can record from the CD into the MD
recorder or DAT deck digitally.

Connect With
To connect an MD recorder or a DAT
deck for analog recording
You can record from the sound sources of
the stereo into the MD recorder or DAT
deck in analog sound.
You can also listen to the sound from the
MD recorder or DAT deck by pressing
MD/DAT.

Use audio cords and make sure to connect
the plugs to jacks of the same colour.
Then press one of the FUNCTION buttons
(or either of the TAPE 1, TAPE 2,
AUX/VIDEO, MD, CD or TUNER on the
remote) to select the sound sources.
To connect other equipment with
AU BUS jack
You can connect other Sony equipment
with AU BUS.

To connect headphones
You can connect the headphones (stereo-
jack) to the HEADPHONES jack.

and hear the sound through the connected
speakers.
