Two Channel Measurements
Power Factor
POWER FACTOR
Power Factor compares apparent power and actual power and is a measure of how effectively a load uses available power. This measurement
requires voltage and current measurements.
Current measurement can be done with either internal or external current
shunt mode. Power Factor is a "unitless" measure, so the gain accuracy of
the measurements does not affect the measurement accuracy. Therefore, the
existing wiring can be used as an external current shunt without calibration.
