Defrost the device
A slight layer of ice or water droplets can form in the interior of the device if it has
been cooling for longer periods. This may have several reasons (see chapter "Trou-
bleshooting" on page 29).
1. Remove all items from the device.
2. Press the on/off button for 6 seconds to switch the device off.
3. Leave the door open.
4. Wipe the condensate water from the device with a dry cloth when the ice has
melted.
5. Clean the device with a damp cloth.

Move the device with at least 2 people.

Ensure that the device stays in a secure and upright position during trans-
portation.
1. Remove all items from the device.
2. Fix the legs to the bottom the device.
3. EA24B only: Lock the door.
EA24D only: Tape the drawers with duct tape.
4. Protect the outside of the device with a blanket or similar.

Storing the device

If the device is turned off for several weeks, odor or mold can growth inside the
device.
1. Remove all items from the device.
2. Clean and dry the inside of the device (see chapter "Cleaning and maintenance"
on page 28).
3. Leave the door of the device open.
