8. BATTERY INFORMATION
Rechargable battery packs become less efficient (memory effect) with repeated charge and discharge cycles. The capacity of
the battery may also reduce over time and you may not achieve the full hours operation. These are therefore subject as wear
part of a shortened warranty period of 3 months. If you find that the battery appear less efficient try to boost charge it. To
do this leave off for 2 to 3 days sunny days to allow the maximum charge to the battery or use a suitable external charger.
We suggest do this occasionally anyway to help prolong the battery life. If after this boost charge you battery still does not
perform to expectations you should.
Note: Alghough there may be some initrial charge in the battery, we recommend fully charging it before first use. Turn off
the solar pump for 1-2 sunning days to ensure the battery is full charged.
