Drivers Daughter Board Relays RL1-6 Figure 2.1 - 1000Base-T1 Dual MUX 40/42-204: Functional Block Diagram Multiplexer Ground Connection Each multiplexer bank has a ground connection via the outer of its front panel coaxial connectors. This is isolated from the front panel and, in the case of dual versions, from the adjacent bank. Modular products require installation in a suitable PXI/PXIe/LXI chassis. The module is for indoor use only. PREOPERATION CHECKS (UNPACKING) 1. Check the module for transport damage and report any damage immediately to Pickering Interfaces. Do not attempt to install the product if any damage is evident. -

For a system comprising more than one chassis, turn ON the last chassis in the system followed by the penultimate, etc, and finally turn ON the external controller or chassis containing the system controller. 9. For Pickering Interfaces modular LXI installation there is no requirement to use any particular power up sequence. -

MODULE ARCHITECTURE The 40/42-204-001 is a single, and the 40/42-204-002 is a dual multiplexer with differential signal paths suitable for switching 1000Base-T1 signals. In the default state, the signal path is between the M and U terminals. The input and output signal connections can be routed to loop terminals and fault conditions can be inserted onto the signal paths via two fault buses. -

For PXI modules which are supported in one of Pickering Interfaces’ Modular LXI Chassis (such as the 60-102B and 60-103B) no module software update is required.
