You have seen how the
key can be used in RUN modeto single-
step through a program. Using the
key in this manner can help
you create and correct programs. Now let's see how you can use E5id,
[BsT), and
() ™ M (0 in W/PRGM modeto help you modify a
program.
Modifying a Program
Since you have completed execution of the above program, the HP-67
is set at step 008. You can verify that the calculator is set at this step
by sliding the Program Mode switch wipram [[[HllRuN to W/PRGM
and observing the step number and keycode in the display.
Now let's modify this Pythagorean Theorem program so that the stack
contents will automatically be reviewed at certain points in the pro-
gram. We will do this by inserting the instruction £}
at three
points in the program.
