Using the I-Register for Indirect Control
If a number containing a fraction is stored in the I-register, E53
(@ reads only the integer portion of the number. Thus, the I-register
can contain a number as large as 9.999999999, and the
@
operation will still execute. For example:
5.0000
4.000
3.00

calculator.

Since the HP-67 is now

in FIX mode, executing

the subroutine loop yields

The HP-67 displays
if the number in the I-register
is greater than 9.999999999 when a 53 [ instruction is executed.
