Replacing the Batteries

The ONE TOUCH
®
comes with batteries already
installed. When the batteries need
to be replaced, use two AAA,
1.5-volt alkaline batteries.
The batteries should last about
18 months when testing up to two
(2) times a day. When the battery
symbol appears on the meter dis-
play, the batteries are getting low.

You will still be able to test with low
batteries, but you should replace
them as soon as possible.
When
BASIC
Meter
®
appears flashing on the display, the
meter will no longer give results and
you must replace the batteries before
you can perform another test.
The meter's current time and date
settings are saved for a minimum of
30 minutes after the batteries have
