Installation
• Disconnect luminaire from mains. Open glass cover.
Remove lamp, reflector and lamp socket. Open rear
ballast housing and remove components and their
wiring. (Fully remove the core of the luminaire and
clean it.)
• (A) Thread the 4-pole plug of the connecting cable
(VB) through the round opening in the housing par-
tition into the lamp compartment. Swing the LED
operating device carrier into the operating device
compartment as shown. Fix in the existing threaded
holes with the enclosed M4x8 screws.
• (B) Make the cable connection to the luminaire ter-
minal (KB) in the driver housing rear panel. Close
the cover again.
• (C) Position the support bracket (TB) and fix it with
the four enclosed M4x8 screws. Ensure that the con-
necting cable is pulled forward into the lamp com-
partment and is not pinched.
• (D) Connect the 4-pole plug of the connecting cable
to the coupling on the LED module (LM). Position
the LED module (LM) on the support bracket with its
keyholes over the screws (SM). Make sure that it is
correctly aligned.
• (Dot marking in the direction of light emission to
the front of the luminaire!) Tighten screws (SM) and
close the luminaire cover again.
• (E) Connect luminaire with the mains and check
function.
• Mark conversion to LED on the luminaire or on the
pole. Keep assembly instructions for maintenance at
a later date.
• Correctly dispose of removed materials/compo-
nents.
Note
If mains are frequently subject to peaks in voltage,
take additional relevant overvoltage protection mea-
sures as necessary.
