15 Temperature measu asurement
15.1

Overview

®
PoolManager has a total of three ree temperature measurement inputs. A
temperature sensor can be conn onnected to each of them. The three
inputs are marked Temp.1 (T1), Te , Temp.2 (T2), and Temp.3 (T3).
T1 and T2 cover a measuring rang ange of 0 – 50°C, T3 covers 0 – 75°C.
The standard temperature sen sensor for the measuring water is
connected to T1 in the factory con onfiguration.
15.2 Measuring water temp mperature
®
PoolManager measures the tem temperature of the measuring water
flowing through the measureme ment chamber. For that purpose, a
PT1000 temperature sensor is is integrated into the measurement
chamber and connected to the inp input Temp.1 (T1).

For PoolManager O2, tempe perature measurement is used for
calculating temperature compen ensation (see section Automatic O2
®
(Bayrosoft ) dosing).

This is the standard measurin ring water temperature sensor
used in the measurement cha hamber.

This model was used in earlie rlier BAYROL controllers

KTY16.6 (2kO parallel)
This model is also common in in the swimming pool industry

KTY16.6 temperat rature sensor
When using a KTY TY16'6 sensor, a 2kO resistor has to
be connected paral rallel to it in order to match the sensor
to the measureme ment range of the two other sensor
models.
