  • Page 11 The advantages of induction hobs Fast cooking: You will be surprised how fast you can cook on an induction hob. Food and liquids boil very quickly at high heat settings. Be sure to monitor the cooking process so that the food does not "escape" and evaporate. The power supply is proportional to the diameter of the dish: during induction cooking, only the part of the burner on which the dish is installed works.
  • Page 12 Induction heating technology means a radical change in traditional heating methods, because the heat is generated in the pan. Therefore, this technology has a number of advantages: • It takes less time to prepare food, since heat is generated directly in the pan, rather than indirectly through heating the glass surface.
  • Page 13 1.4. SUITABLE COOKWARE FOR INDUCTION HOB Only cookware made of ferromagnetic alloys can be used on the induction hob, for example: • steel dishes with enamel coating; • cast iron cookware; • special stainless steel cookware for induction hobs. To make sure that the cookware is suitable for the induction hob, check whether it is attracted by a magnet.
