blade 17 has been properly selected and an appro-
priate speed has been set.
• Make sure that the workpiece is tightly fastened and
that all of the metal pieces (nails, screw nails, etc)
have been removed from it
• Turn the power tool on before the saw blade 17
comes in contact with the workpiece Do not use extra
force; the operation requires some time Extra force
will not speed up the operating process, but it will over-
load the power tool
• When the teeth of the saw blade 17 are too large for
the workpiece (excessive vibration, splitting and chipping
of the processed surface will serve as a sign of the teeth
being too large), turn off the power tool immediately and
replace the saw blade 17 with the appropriate blade
• If the saw blade 17 jams during the operation, turn
off the power tool immediately and try to expand the
saw cut, then carefully remove the saw blade 17 from
the saw cut Caution: do not try to remove the
jammed saw blade 17 by swinging it in the kerf
with the power tool switched on, for it may cause
breakdown of the saw blade 17 and injury.
• After the cutting is finished, first turn the power tool
off and then remove the saw blade 17 from the saw
cut
When cutting certain materials (like met-
als), the saw blade 17 may heat up ex-
cessively, therefore it is recommended
to use cooling or lubricating substances
which are to be applied to the point where the saw
blade 17 comes in contact with the workpiece.
Cutting along the curved path
Curved path sawing is possible when the narrow saw
blades 17 are used
Plunge sawing (see fig. 8)
Plunge sawing may be used only when
sawing soft materials, such as wood,
plasterboard, etc. This operating tech-
nique
facilitates
without preliminary drilling - the saw blade 17 cuts
through the blank part on its own. This technique
requires certain skill and may be applied using
short saw blades 17.
• This method allows making a kerf not from the edge
of the workpiece and without preliminary drilling, saw
blade 17 cuts the workpiece through Caution: use
only short saw blades 17 for this method of opera-
tion.
• Press support plate 11 and end of the saw blade 17
against the workpiece as shown on the figure 8.1. Switch
the power tool on Lifting the back part of the power tool
gently, dip the saw blade 17 in the blank slowly
• Once the saw blade 17 cuts through the blank part
return the power tool into its normal operating posi-
tion and continue cutting along the marked line (see
fig. 8.2).
Wall surface flush sawing (see fig. 9-10)
• Use of the flexible bimetallic saw blades 17 enables
cutting of prominent parts of the structure (eg, brack-
ets, reinforcement bars, pipes) flush to the wall surface.

• Press the end of the saw blade 17 to the wall (the
saw blade 17 must tightly adjoin to the wall in the cut
point, see fig. 9) and cut off the projecting piece of the
structure Apply permanent side pressure to the power
tool, this will prevent jamming of the cutting blade 17
and the overload of the tool motor
Caution: make sure that the saw blade 17
is always longer than the diameter of the
processed item (see fig. 10), otherwise
there is a possibility of kickback and a
risk the saw blade 17 to be broken.
Power tool maintenance / preventive
measures
Before carrying out any works on the power tool
remove the battery 13.
Battery maintenance instruction
• Charge timely before the battery 13 is completely
exhausted Stop operation in low power and charge it
immediately
• Do not overcharge when the battery 13 is full, other-
wise it will shorten the life time
• Charge battery 13 in the room temperature of 10°C
to 40°C (50°F to 104°F)
• Charge battery 13 every 6 months without operation
for a long time
• Replace worn out batteries in time Decline of pro-
duction or a significantly shorter runtime of the power
tool after charging indicates aging of the battery 13 and
the need for replacement It should be taken into ac-
count that the battery 13 may discharge faster if the
works take place in the temperature below 0°С.
• In case of long time storage without use, it is recom-
mended to store the battery 13 at room temperature, it
should be charged to 50%
Cleaning of the power tool
An indispensable condition for a safe long-term exploi-
tation of the power tool is to keep it clean Regularly
flush the power tool with compressed air thought the
ventilation slots 5

kind of technology that works on the principle of clamp-
ing packaging
