of the battery 13 is terminated due to inappropriate
temperature When the temperature conditions are
normal, the process of charging will resume
• Fig 55 - (the red indicator 19 is blinking, the bat-
tery 13 is inserted in the charger 16) - the charging
process of the battery 13 is terminated because of its

Design features of the power tool
Temperature protection (see fig. 6.1)
The temperature protection system enables to auto-
matically deactivate the power tool in case of excess
load or when the temperature of the battery 13 is ex-
ceeding 80°C The system guarantees protection of
the power tool from damage in case of noncompliance
with the operation conditions
When this protection system is activated indicators 15
will blink as shown onto fig. 6.1 during 3 seconds.
Overheating protection (see fig. 6.1)
Overheating protection system of the engine automati-
cally switches off the power tool in case of overheat-
ing In this situation, let the tool cool before turning the
power tool on again
When this protection system is activated indicators 15
will blink as shown onto fig. 6.1 during 3 seconds.
Overload protection (see fig. 6.1)
Overload protection system of the engine automati-
cally switches off the power tool when it is operated
in a manner that causes it to draw an abnormally high
current
When this protection system is activated indicators 15
will blink as shown onto fig. 6.1 during 3 seconds.
Overdischarge protection
The battery 13 is protected by the safety system against
deep discharge In case of complete discharge, the
power tool is automatically switched off Attention: do
not try to switch on the power tool when the protec-
tion system is activated the battery 13 can be dam-
aged.
Indicators of the state of battery charge (see fig. 6)
With the push of the button 14 the indicators 15 show
the state of charge of the battery 13 (see fig. 6).
LED lamp
When the on / off switch 3 is pushed, the LED lamp 8
is automatically switched on that allows to carry out
works in low light conditions
Steeples regulation of a number of saw blade
strokes
Change of the number of strokes from 0
to maximum also depends from the force
applied on the switch 3 A weak press
means a small number of strokes; this
allows turning on the power tool smoothly may be re-
quired for specific kinds of work.
Rotary handle (see fig. 7)
Rotary handle 1 can be put into three positions relating
to the horizontal axis of body 6 (see fig. 7). This allows
on / off switch 3 to be put into the position most con-
venient for working
• Press onto lock 4 and while holding it in position,
rotate rotary handle 1 into the required position
• Release lock 4
Recommendations on the power tool op-
eration
Selecting the saw blade
Before starting the operation, please select the appro-
priate type of the saw blade 17 which should corre-
spond to the sawed material, sawing regime and the
quality of the edge of the saw cut The designation of
the saw blade is printed on the package; you may also
ask the salesperson
General guidelines for cutting
Before starting, use a sample work-
piece (made of the same material as the
workpiece to be processed) to perform
trial cutting in order to verify that saw
