Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not disassemble the
unit by yourself, if any malfunction is detected or after it was
dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any authorized ser-
vice center from the contact address list given in the war-
ranty certificate and on the website www.vitek.ru.
To avoid damages, transport the unit in original pack-
age only.
Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children
and disabled persons.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. ITS
COMMERCIAL USAGE AND USAGE IN PRODUCTION AREAS
AND WORK SPACES IS PROHIBITED.
BEFORE USING THE UNIT FOR THE FIRST TIME
After unit transportation or storage under cold (winter)
conditions, it is necessary to keep it for at least 3 hours
at room temperature before switching on.
Unpack the unit and remove any stickers that can prevent
unit operation.
Check the unit for damages; do not use it in case of
damages.
Before switching the unit on, make sure that your home
mains voltage corresponds to the unit operating voltage.
USAGE
Wash your hair with shampoo, dry it with a hairdryer and comb
it before styling.
Notes:
Do not put the operating unit on any surface, making
sure that the heating plates and outer operating sur-
faces do not come into contact with fusible and inflam-
mable objects.
During the first operation some foreign smell and a small
amount of smoke from the heating plates is possible,
this is normal.
Attention! The outer surface of the body heats up strongly,
so touch the unit in the area of the handle (6) only.
Avoid contact of heated surfaces with your face, neck and
other open parts of your body.
Do not comb your hair right after styling, let it cool off.
Divide the locks with your fingers carefully to make them
look natural.
Open the working plates (1). To do this, squeeze them
and move the latch (7) «outwards» - in the direction of the
power cord (8).
Insert the power plug into the mains socket. The display
will show «OFF».
