1 Safety Description This chapter introduces the safety announcements. Prior to performing any work on the UPS, please read the user manual carefully to avoid human injury and device damage by irregular operations. 1.1 Safety Announcements This section introduces the safety announcements that must be complied with and pay special attention while installing, using, maintenance and other relative operations.
• Before connecting or disconnecting the battery terminals, disconnect the charger first. • The battery must be of the same type, model and manufacturer. • Battery should be kept away from fire source or other electrical equipment that may easily cause spark to avoid human injury.
2. Overview This chapter primarily introduces the UPS, explaining its model significance, features, structure, working principle, and more. 2.1 Product Introduction The PREMIUS series UPS is a high-frequency, pure online, double-conversion, intelligent product. This comprehensive power solution offers exceptional security for file servers, enterprise servers, central servers, microcomputers, concentrators, telecom systems, data centers, and other applications that demand high- quality power protection.

2.1.4 Fittings Illustration • PREMIUS series (7.5 kVA – 20 kVA) The PREMIUS series UPS (7.5 kVA – 20 kVA) and distribution module are equipped with four types of copper bars, detailed in Table 1-2. Users have the flexibility to connect the appropriate copper bar to the corresponding wiring arrangement following the installation of the UPS or distribution module.

PREMIUS series (7.5kVA-20kVA) For the wiring terminals of the PREMIUS series UPS with capacities ranging from 7.5kVA to 20kVA, it's advisable to follow the recommended types as specified in Table3-1. If users find the need for additional terminals beyond those specified, it's essential to verify the dimensions carefully. This verification ensures that the chosen terminals align correctly and appropriately with the UPS's requirements.
3.3 Mechanical Installation The UPS installation can be carried out using either tower-mounting or rack-mounting methods. Users have the flexibility to choose the most suitable installation approach based on their specific requirements and the actual conditions of their setup. 3.3.1 Tower-mounting Single UPS installation Step 1 Begin by retrieving a pair of support base clamps.

Wiring of external batteries If user needs to connect batteries externally, please connect the wires as follows. The UPS in this series is designed to accommodate both positive and negative battery groups for its battery input. For a wiring reference, consult Figure 1-16. Each battery cabinet consists of 32 individual batteries and a 3P breaker.
Install wiring plates Step 1 Remove the flat-head screws from the protective cover before wiring, as shown in Figure 1-17. 4 Screen Operation This chapter primarily provides information about the working parameters, operational statuses, and system configuration settings accessible through the UPS screen. 4.1 Menu Hierarchy The menu hierarchy of the screen is as shown in Figure 2-1. 4.2 Main Page After the UPS is powered on, it will enter the system monitoring main interface-energy flow chart display page, as shown in Figure 2-2. Figure 2-3 Main power inverter output Figure 2-2 Main Page After entering the main interface, it is easy to monitor the system.
4.4 Monitoring Page After the system automatically enters the monitoring page, the monitoring page in the lower right corner has page number display, according to the current set of different system, the total number of monitoring pages displayed is different. By pressing the up/down page button, you can turn on the monitoring page, and the monitoring page loop display, three-in and three-out page number and page loop order as shown in Figure 2-7.
4.6 Management Setting On any monitoring page, you can access the settings management page by long-pressing the function button for 3 seconds. This page primarily serves as a directory display function, featuring the following sections: parameter settings, function settings, log management, screen settings, and permission settings. These five items are displayed on the page, as depicted in Figure 2-9.
By briefly pressing the up/down page button, you can select various page options. The chosen option will have a solid box around it, replacing the previous hollow box. At this point, a short press of the function button will lead you to the corresponding next level of settings page.

Battery Test Settings: • Standard Test: This setting entails the UPS returning to electrolytic inversion after switching to battery inverter for 10 seconds upon power-on. • Depth Test: In this mode, the UPS switches to battery inversion until the battery discharges to the under-voltage alarm level.

On the screen settings page, select the "Date" option, and give a brief press to the settings button. This will allow you to access the date settings. Within the date settings, the year value "2019" will begin to flash. While it's flashing, you can adjust the year value using the up/down page turning button.
5 Use and Operation This chapter mainly describes the operation process, operation method, daily maintenance, and troubleshooting, etc. 5.1 Check Before Startup Check if the wire connection is firm and the color of AC wires is in accordance with the specification. Check if UPS is grounded reliably.
5.5 Battery Maintenance The lifespan of a battery is influenced by environmental temperature and the number of discharge cycles. Prolonged usage of a battery in high temperatures or deeply discharging the battery will reduce its lifespan. When selecting a battery box, please pay attention to the following items: •...

The buzzer alarms listed in the table above describe various scenarios: from the UPS boot state with no beep prohibition when the buzzer isn't set, to the shutdown state or certain abnormal occurrences that trigger LCD information prompts when the buzzer prohibition is configured.
6 Package, Transportation and Storage 6.1 Package During the packaging process, please ensure that you adhere to the directional requirements. On the sides of the package, you'll find warning marks indicating precautions such as avoiding moisture, careful handling, keeping the device upright, and limitations on stacking layers. Additionally, the package will display the device model. On the front of the package, you'll find the printed device name.
