Replace the Outside Actuator Shroud

Tools Required: Phillips Screwdriver
Estimated Repair Time: 15 minutes
1. Turn the cross-trainer power switch OFF.
2. Unplug the line cord from the wall outlet.
3. Remove and save the fi ve screws that secure the outside
actuator shroud to the inside actuator shroud.
4. Remove the outside actuator shroud.
5. Install the new outside actuator shroud in reverse order
using the screws removed and saved in Step 3.

Replace the Telescoping Shrouds

Tools Required: Phillips Screwdriver; Offset Screwdriver
Estimated Repair Time: 15 minutes
1. Extend the actuators to maximum stride length.
2. Turn the cross-trainer power switch OFF.
3. Unplug the line cord from the wall outlet.
4. Remove the corresponding outside actuator shroud (see How To Replace the Outside Actuator Shroud above).
5. Remove and save the four screws that secure the outside telescoping shroud to the actuator bracket.
6. Remove and save the two screws that secure the inside telescoping shroud to the actuator bracket.
7. Install the new telescoping shrouds in reverse order using the hardware removed and saved in the previous steps.
