AMPLITUDE
MODULATION AND
DE-MODULATION:
The aim
of
this
experiment
is
to
demonstrate
the
production of
an Amplitude
Modulated
carrier
and
to
show
a
means
of
de-modulating
to
produce
the
original
modulating
signal.

The equipment

The
output from
the
microphone
is
amplified
by
the
Voltage
Amp.
and
taken
to
the
A.
M.
input
where
it
amplitude modulates
the function
generator
output.
This
A.M.
Signal
is
then tuned by the tuned
circuit,
detected by
the
diode and amplified
to
produce an audible
signal.
