Connections
Turn off all the components before making connections.
when making the following connection.
@ Make sure that you connect the white PIN-plugs to the left
(L-white) jacks and the red PIN-plugs to the right (R-red)
® Connect everything securely. Loose connections can lead

to malfunction.

LINE OUT jacks for audio signal output.
VARIABLE (Variable output level) jacks : Playback output levels are controlled by the OUTPUT/
PHONES control and the UP or DOWN button on the provided remote control unit (Refer to page
21).
FIXED (fixed output level) jacks : Playback output levels are fixed at the specific output levels.
DIGITAL OUT OPTICAL terminal and COAXIAL jack for digital audio signal
output (Refer to page 22).
Power cord and plug
Connections and placement
Connections
Connect the white and red PIN-jacks of the CD player to
the L(left) and R(right) CD jacks of your stereo amplifier
with the provided connection cord.
After all connections have been made
Connect the CD player's power cord to the AC OUTLET of
the stereo amplifier, optional audio timer or directly to your
household AC outlet.
Note
@ Ifyou wish to use the output level adjustment function of the

CD player, use the VARIABLE jacks for connection (Con-
nection-A).
@ \f your amplifier does not have CD jacks, use the AUX jacks
for CD player connection. Do not connect the CD player to
VARIABLE
FIXED
the PHONO jacks of your amplifier.
CD Player
@ Using both the VARIABLE and FIXED jacks for connection
is not recommended as this will result in poor sound repro-
duction. Use 1 set of jacks at a time for connection.
Important!

country may differ from the illustrations. (Example; U.K,
Australia, U.S.A., Europe, etc.)
