Repeat playback
Infinite repeat playback
With the repeat playback feature you can repeat random pro-
gram playback, random playback or playback of all the com-
pact disc's tracks an infinite number of times.
Press the REPEAT button on the remote control unit.
The REPEAT indicator will appear on the FL display.
When playback is started with the [>/Hl button, playback of the
compact disc will repeat an infinite number of times until the Hi
button is pressed.
To stop repeat playback
Press the ll button. The CD player will stop but the repeat func-
tion will not be cancelled.
To cancel repeat playback
Press the REPEAT button. The REPEAT function will be can-
celled and the REPEAT indicator will disappear.
The CD player will go into the normal playback mode and play-
back of the compact disc will continue until the last track.
Note
@ Random
playback can not be performed while the CD
player is in the random program playback mode. Press the
CLEAR buiton if the PROG indicator is on the FL display.
A — B repeat playback
(2-point repeat playback)
With the A + B repeat playback feature you can program the
CD player for repeated playback of any section of the CD that
you like.
1 Play back the compact disc.
To memorize the repeat playback start point:
Press the A-— B button once.
The [A]
— [5] indicator will flash on and off.
To memorize the repeat playback end point:
Press the A --~ B button again.
The [A]-—[B] indicator will stop flashing. The CD player will
start
A -~B repeat playback and continue an infinite
number of times.
To stop and cancel A--B repeat playback
Press the li button.
The CD player will stop playback. The [A] [B] indicator will dis-
appear.
To cancel the A -- B repeat playback
without stopping playback
Press the A ~~ B button. The [A] —[B] indicator will disappear
and playback will continue.
REPEAT indicator

@ The search operation can be performed during random
playback by pressing the ®® button. The << button can
not be used during random playback.
