USE OF DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES

Always use a low lather powder, such as
Ariel Automatic. This is important as too
much lather prevents the articles from being
properly cleansed and may damage the
machine.

The washing powder should be placed in
the appropriate compartments in the
washing powder dispenser drawer before
starting the programme.
The compartment marked with the symbol UJ
is for the main wash powder.
Use Of Liquid Additives
Any liquid additives for softening or
dressing the laundry must be poured
into the appropriate compartment of
the washing powder dispenser
drawer before starting the
programme.
The compartment marked with the
symbol ¢ is for softeners and
dressing agents; never exceed the
MAX level, indicated by the red
marker.
Use Of Liquid Detergent
Suitable liquid detergent such as
Ariel can be used instead of
washing powder.
Pour the liquid detergent into the
compartment WW in the dispenser
drawer immediately before starting the
wash programme. If the detergent has
its own dispenser bail, this should be
used according to the manufacturer's
instructions.
Note
Once the dispenser has been filled, close
it by pushing it in gently. This is particularly
important if you are using fabric conditioner
because if the drawer is slammed it will
cause the conditioner to enter the machine
prematurely.
Washing Net Curtains
To avoid excessive and damaging amount
of lather, it is advisable to wash large
curtains singularly and take extra care
when measuring thé detergent.
