USE OF DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES
Choosing the right washing
powder. Always use a low
lather
powder.
This
is
important as too much lather
prevents
the articles from
being properly
cleansed
and
you may damage the machine.
Ariel Automatic
is specially
designed
to complement
the
cleaning action of the machine.
POWDER
The
washing
powder
should
be
placed
in the
appropriate compartments in
the
washing
powder
dispenser
drawer
before
starting the programme.
The compartment marked
with the symbol (IJ is for
the
prewash
powder
(if
required by the programme).
The compartment marked
with the symbol (II) is for
the main wash powder.
The following table gives
the
quantities
of washing
powder to be used according
to the hardness of the water.
Your local water authority
will be able to tell you how
hard your water is.
